Duty free shops for train passengers by Russian Railways
The Russian Railways has started a pilot project and opened a duty free shop for passengers travelling by international train from Moscow to Beijing. The shop was opened at the train station of Zabaikalsk. That was the first experience in organizing a duty free shop at train stations of the Russian Federation. They plan to open the second shop at the Finnish train station of St. Petersburg. A big 100 square meter building is ready for opening and passengers travelling to Helsinki by Allegro trains will be able to shop there soon. All they need for that is just to show their train ticket.
