The Russian Railways runs additional trains from Moscow to Helsinki in March
To supply the growing demand for train tickets during Women’s Day celebration on 8 March the Russian Railways plans to add more trains on the route Moscow – Helsinki – Moscow for the period from 7 until 11 March. Please keep in mind that sale for international train tickets starts 60 days before departure. Online registration is available when issuing electronic train tickets from Russia to Finland.
Due to the online registration passengers do not have to get paper tickets in the booking office or terminal at train stations. To get on a train at any station along the whole route from Moscow to Helsinki passengers just need to show their electronic ticket printed out on a sheet of paper or its picture on a mobile device together with the passport to a train conductor. But to take a train from Helsinki to Moscow having electronic ticket passengers need to print out a paper ticket from a terminal or box office on the territory of Russia.
